A Social adVentures project · Salford
Mental Health, Horticulture & Nature.
A peaceful centre on the edge of Kersal Dale Woodland where Salford residents come to grow, walk, learn and look after their mental health — alongside the people they share it with.

What we do
A hub for green wellbeing across Greater Manchester.
Garden Needs is a centre on the border of Salford and Prestwich, right on the edge of the Kersal Dale Woodland. We run a regular mental health and horticulture project on-site, alongside green wellbeing projects and interventions in parks and green spaces across Greater Manchester.
The site hosts forest school training, woodland wellbeing for adults, a mental health and horticulture project, a pre-school forest school, green social prescribing, holiday clubs and outdoor education services for schools.
