What was the situation?
SM got in touch as she wanted help to find work. We referred her to our employability course. She felt motivated to find employment, but had very serious issues with interview confidence.
What was the intervention?
We worked with her to help her update her CV and we did a 121 session specifically to prepare her for an interview.
This included a mock interview, a debriefing session and advice to help her with her nerves, during interviews.
What was the outcome?
SM had a job interview a few days after we prepared her for it and she got the job!
She said we had helped increase her confidence and she felt calm and in control at her interview.
She has now started as an administrator working within the NHS.
